Regulatory Framework

One objective of the Bank is to promote the safety and soundness of financial institutions and a well-functioning financial system in the Netherlands Antilles. The Bank provides a regulatory and supervisory framework for prudential supervision and a fair and transparent financial market. The regulatory framework also promotes financial integrity and aims to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing.
